Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after River was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. History: Lance was born the youngest of three triplets. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Blacksmith and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gerald's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Hunter. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. With a patchy red beard and wild red hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and many drow want him driven away
