History: He got into the Miller business at a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miller for the past few years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: An older man who wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with black colored cloaks and clothing, he is not a threatening figure. He wears his auburn hair down. His ears are large.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: This tall, slender man wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a pastel coat. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and expand his business

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His chestnut hair is braided into rings. His white eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
