History: Cory hails from a village terrorized by giants. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Miles never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Kellen was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
