Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears an entirely violet suit with white socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His black crest is thinning but still full. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and to get a good night's sleep

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ortegar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
