After coming to the age of reason, Shamash took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His childhood dream was to be a Shipwright, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sage for the past few years.

Personality: Sapply hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sapply was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Pandjed was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
