Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burto embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Mason arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. After a long history of fighting, Lamlis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Halfling, and stands approximately 3'1". He tends to wear a large black jacket, and his gloved hand is found clutching a longsword. He keeps his black hair in a pixie cut. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Halfling culture. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and to reunite with his old friends

His long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He has worked as a Carter like his father before him.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.
