History: Umpen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He now owns his own business.

In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner.
