History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Veit was a troubled youth. History: He was born into a rich family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cook work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cook work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Gorbundus enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gorbundus hails from a village terrorized by goblins. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands.
