History: Peren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

Description: He is a husky man, who is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Odo grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Odo began to lead the lost caravan. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ribbles embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ribbles was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. His chestnut hair is singed and shortened. His fierce red eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Fenriz was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Fenriz's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he's attracted to the pc

Description: He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He is portly but not overly obese. His black hair is smooth and relatively long. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Radomir hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Radomir was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and retire the richest man in the north
