History: Baern lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Baern alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Baern was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has achieved small success as a Locksmith.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His childhood dream was to be a Merchant, but he was a colossal failure. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and further expansion of business
