He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now mingles about in high society.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
