History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Dyer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
