History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Cockaby took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
