Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: He comes from a rich southern family. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he is greedy

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: Bharash hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
