Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. The war was a terrible time for him, and Broce does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Broce was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: A middle-aged man, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, and is pretty ugly. His brown hair is cut short. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, and is pretty ugly. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: He typically wears green cloth garments or leather armor. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length chestnut hair. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with grey colored cloaks and clothing. His hair is long and white with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and his religion dominates his actions
