History: Shifting was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Dyer and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: Kairon was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He worked as a nervous Bricklayer and found it very stressful. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a Bounty Hunter, his father struggled to pay the bills. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
