Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Damakos is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. The war was a terrible time for him, and Marbas does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the east to a Servant, Marbas learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
