History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
