History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A gifted student he started as a Courier, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is greedy

History: Born in the east to a Bricklayer, Lance learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bricklayer. He became a Bricklayer soon after.
