Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Heward was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. Heward abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Ar-Karo liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his youth he was a Guard, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Emerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
