History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Xappan has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To unite with his brother.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Tethren's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. The war was a terrible time for him, and Tethren does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
