History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Elaim is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. The war was a terrible time for him, and Elaim does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of a Shepherd, who enjoyed hunting, Elaim was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Elaim was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
