History: Barakas hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Barakas took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sickle and armor he uses now. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Gifted from a young age, Roland studied abroad. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Vassago was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Map Maker.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
