History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His white hair is singed and shortened. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Burto abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Laborer born in the past three hundred years. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born in the north to a Laborer, Burto learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his youth he was a Shoemaker, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.
