History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Richard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Richard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To protect his home; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His childhood dream was to be a Painter, but he was a colossal failure. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A freak accident while working with his Interpreter father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
