Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Raer was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a cartwright and was forced into it by his family

Description: This tall, slender man is dressed in an above average manner. He wears his black hair down. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Mûg enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Mûg was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He's also a talented Carpenter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to get a good night's sleep
