History: Baz hails from a village terrorized by orcs. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Baz was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it.

History: Râsh hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
