Description: 4'3" and muscular, this northern man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His black hair has been sun bleached extensively. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: Dain was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. He has achieved small success as a Soapmaker.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new soapmaker responsibilities is difficult

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a simple brown robe with tan stripes complete with hood. He wears his white hair up. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the east were limited. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has a long red beard with little hanging trinkets. He has violet eyes.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Tanner, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Gardener, but he got bored and became a Guard. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
