History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a red cloak and cross-gartered pastel stockings. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. A friendly and beautiful Elf, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears long strands of jet and short yellow dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His white hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
