History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: He got into the Herbalist business at a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

After months of barely getting by, Veit managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
