His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. After coming to the age of reason, Sindri took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
