History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Herbalist kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, and carries quarterstaffs. His hair is short and red. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Nirgel was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Nirgel decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He is fixated on the number 11. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
