Description: 5'3" and muscular, this southern man prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Raer hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Raer was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Right-Handed lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion
