History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Nykkan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nykkan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Nykkan and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Carrie was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
