History: He got into the Carpenter business at a young age. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Taklinn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and many gnolls want him driven away

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Detective for the past few years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to be a laborer again

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Morkral was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Morkral decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned.
