History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and sabotage a competitor

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Bellfounder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
