History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'4" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His hair is black and curly. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He became a Marshal soon after.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy
