He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He is a Sage first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sage for hire.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and his religion dominates his actions
