Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Nicholas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Fax was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Miner and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the east to a Detective, Pikar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Detective for the past few years.

Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his monstrous two handed axe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly monstrous two handed axes and scythes. He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length red fur. His eyes are copper and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Leaf grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Leaf. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
