He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Gargax and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
