History: Born in the south to a Cartwright, Gardain learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: He stands about 4'8" and wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His auburn hair is braided into rings. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He takes great joy in being the best Miller in town.

History: He was born in the east. A gifted student he started as a Gardener, but he got bored and became a Miller. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miller for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to be a gardener again

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is a great chef.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
