Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Born in the east to a Armorer, Richard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He tends to his Armorer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Cloud was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Cloud's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
