History: He was born into a rich family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His auburn hair is heavily combed to the right. His gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Gruk was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Gruk decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
