History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a falchion on his belt, and is pretty ugly. His white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Alex lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and to unite with his sister
