History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Glim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Glim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Shipwright arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Farmer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Shipwright, and he later adopted a second son.
