When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shoemaker. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Through the years after Krakhorn was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Krakhorn's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Krakhorn and his spouse have recently divorced.
