History: Sammal hails from a village terrorized by giants. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Dilettante father left him crippled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
