History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Oblar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
