This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.

Description: An older man who wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are a pleasant brown.

Personality: Gorfel is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has never given up on his music dream.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Galinndan reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
