History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. After months of barely getting by, Baern managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Description: He wears a grey wide-brimmed hat and grey clothes, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'6" when asserting himself. His white hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Charles was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Charles and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he sports blue clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He has no crest. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines red.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it
